A.W.O.L 12-Step group, one-on-one counseling, didactic group, individualized treatment goals, daily living skills training, interpersonal relationships training, Family Day program, as well as participation in outside AA/NA meetings. Pathway goals are to provide a comprehensive treatment program to attain recovery.
The Department of Public Health, through the Bureau of Substance Abuse Services, funds the program. GAAMHA Inc. is a State Office Minority and Women Business assistance certified business.
Any sober, drug free adult male substance abuser 21 years of age or older, in need of a structured program of recovery, is eligible to apply for admission to Pathway House. Our central requirement is that the applicant be sincerely motivated to do something about his substance abuse problem. Admission is by referral from a primary treatment source: i.e., acute treatment centers, transitional care facilities, stabilization programs, shelters, outreach sites and the criminal justice system.
Admission must be preceded by a personal interview with a designated staff. A recent medical report, psychosocial history, completed Pathway application forms and a psychological evaluation (if available) from the primary treatment facility, must accompany the applicant to the interview.
